Doesn't look quick and easy. How do you go about getting fractals, and such awesome ones at that?

it took me at most 10 minutes to make, the longest part was rendering it for a half hour. i use a program called apophysis with the 3d hack to make my fractals.

if you want to ever try it i can note you some good places to find resources such as plugins, scripts, and tutorials.

I would absolutely love to try it, if you'd be so kinda as to show me what you can. It's always been a distant mystery, and it's something I'd appreciate far more if I knew what was involved and how to do them.
